The Untouched Feast

Several men were trapped in a fortified underground warehouse. The room was filled to the brim with premium wheat, corn, and potatoes. Outside, a brutal war was raging, cutting them off completely from the rest of the world. Months later, allied forces finally broke the siege and opened the vault, only to find that all the men had starved to death. Strangely, the massive stockpile of food remained completely untouched—not a single grain was missing. They weren't sick, they weren't tied up, and no one was holding a gun to their heads.
