Puzzle

A widower uploaded his late wife's diaries, texts, and medical history into a state-of-the-art AI to perfectly simulate her consciousness. One sunny afternoon, he sat in his living room and asked the machine a single question: "If you knew you only had one minute left to live back then, what would you have said to me?" The AI paused, then replied in his wife's gentle voice: "Honey, could you bring the laundry in from the balcony? I think it's going to rain." The man stared at the cloudless, bright blue sky outside. Without a word, he took a hammer and smashed the expensive device to pieces. The crippling depression that had haunted him for three years vanished that very day.
