The Survivalist and the Bug

Mark and David had been trapped in the collapsed bunker for nine days without food. In the pitch black, Mark suddenly chuckled and whispered, "Remember that TV survivalist? He always ate the bugs." David froze for a moment, then burst into a fit of hysterical, echoing laughter. Mark laughed with him, until the sound abruptly devolved into violent scuffling, and finally, dead silence. When rescuers broke through weeks later, neither man had survived.
