Wrapped in Love

I told the news reporters that I wouldn't rest until she was safe, and now my tearful plea is trending across the entire state. Everyone calls me a saint for standing by her, even after we broke up. But honestly, I'm not worried about her freezing out there alone. I know for a fact she's warm. I gave her my thickest, heaviest duvet before she left. Right now, she's wrapped up tight, dead asleep in a place where no one will ever bother her again.
