The isolated town of Oakhaven was famous for one thing: the locals believed absolutely everything outsiders told them. Desperate and broke, I spun them a tragic tale to get some quick cash. They listened in silence, their eyes filled with profound pity, but didn't offer a single dime. The next morning, they left a custom-made pine box on my porch.
