The Numb Bite

Jack walked out of the clinic after a minor procedure. The doctor tried to give him a strict post-op warning, but Jack brushed him off, eager to grab a steak dinner with his best friend. Halfway through the meal, his friend dropped his fork, staring at Jack's mouth in sheer, pale horror. When Jack finally realized what he had actually been chewing, a cold sweat drenched his body.
