Arthur was found dead in his private study, the heavy oak door bolted from the inside. There were no wounds, no signs of struggle, and toxicology came back clean. On the desk, just out of his reach, sat a half-empty glass of water and his smartphone, its protective case slightly pryed open. Despite Arthur being alone at the time of death, police arrested his business partner for first-degree murder. The partner had not been near the house in over 24 hours.
