The 500th Screening
Puzzle
To buy the perfect face, I laid myself down on the expensive assembly line. The 'Golden Craftsman' promised he would sculpt this masterpiece entirely with his own hands.
However, the moment the chemicals stole my consciousness, the Craftsman stripped off his gloves and walked out, tossing the chisel to a trembling shadow in the corner.
The straw drank the red pigment tirelessly, while the machine hummed in a void for three hours.
Now, the show is over. There is only a mother sitting before a silent screen, weeping as she forces herself to watch this unclaimed, raw footage for the five-hundredth time.
Detective Hints
- Q1: What exactly happened on the 'Assembly Line'?
- Q2: Who is the 'Shadow' and why were they trembling?
- Q3: Why does the mother watch the screen repeatedly?
