I awoke in the dark, standing completely still on a tiny wooden pedestal. A spark ignited within me, and I began to sway in my pristine white dress. I was a dancer, and this silent room was my theater. But the performance was grueling. My body wept with exhaustion, thick tears of sweat running down my pale skin. My slender spine began to bow. Suddenly, a cold breath pushed me. I lost my balance and collapsed into the nearby silken curtains. The unfamiliar touch was intoxicating. I realized I didn't want to just burn out quietly and fade into a mere wisp of smoke. I wanted a real audience! Shedding my heavy white dress, I leaped from the pedestal. I twirled across the carpets and climbed the walls, my passion boiling hotter by the second. The sleeping family finally woke up to witness my grand finale. They didn't watch in silence—they ran, they thrashed, and their desperate screams fueled my chaotic waltz. The very roof above us groaned in awe before collapsing to join the dance. When the uninvited men in heavy coats finally arrived, it was too late. They forcefully washed away my feverish sweat, violently ending my performance. Now, I rest peacefully in the soaking, blackened ruins, surrounded by the quiet, intertwined bodies of my audience. I am no longer afraid of the dark.
