The Abyssal Trinity
Puzzle
At midnight, the one-eyed captain finally delivered the three 'Abyssal Treasures' I had bankrupted myself to acquire.
Trembling, I unsealed the first clay jar. Inside was a viscous, obsidian sludge reeking of ancient decay—the 'Blood of Immortality.' I forced the vile mixture down my throat; it tasted of damp earth and pungent, deathly spices.
The second box held the 'Specter’s Embrace.' My fingers grasped at freezing emptiness, yet my fevered mind insisted I was touching a soul from a higher dimension.
But the third crate shattered my sanity. It contained a 'fallen angel' from the deep: a leathery, flattened nightmare with a human-like face contorted into an eternal scream. Its eyes were perched atop its head, its mouth a gaping 'O' of agony, and its body possessed demonic, wing-like flaps, as if crushed by the ocean's weight into a two-dimensional horror.
